How is the simple future tense formed? (Futuro Simple)
The simple future tense is formed by adding the following endings to the infinitive form. The endings are the same for all conjugation types:

When to use Futuro Simple?
The simple future tense is used to express actions in the near or distant future, as well as to express a guess. Try to memorize the following indicator situations:
- An action we are going to perform in the future:
- Assumptions about the future:
- Assumptions about the present:
Mañana terminaré el trabajo. I’ll finish this job tomorrow.
Te llamaré la semana que viene. I’ll call you next week.
Elena no vendrá a la hora. Elena probably won’t get here on time.
El tiempo será bueno. The weather will most likely be nice.
Ahora tu madre estará cansada. Your mom is probably tired now.
Tus hijos ya serán enormes. Your children must be huge by now.
Some verbs change their roots and have an irregular form in the future tense. Please note that it is the root that changes, not the endings:
